Each pair of our handmade shoes is designed to withstand everyday wear and tear; however, a little love and care will keep them (and your feet) happy for a very long time.

As a regular form of maintenance, we recommend dusting off the shoes with a smooth brush after each day of wear. Leather ages beautifully, and to assist with this process we recommend using high quality protective creams. For smooth leather, a conditioner cream works best, while nubuck and suede fabrics prefer protective sprays. Vegan leather loves natural beeswax.

The soles are made of smooth leather and may be slippery at the beginning; this fades after some walking. Anti-slip sole pads can also be added to achieve a stronger grip.

Leather sprays offer a limited resistance to water. While a mild shower of rain will not do much harm, it is best to keep the shoes dry.

Before wearing the shoes outdoors, please keep our policy guidelines in mind. We recommend first trying your shoes on indoors, on a soft surface such as a carpet. This will protect the sensitive leather soles in case you need to return or exchange them.
